We played basketball in wheelchairs with the Motivation Foundation
12 volunteers from the Vodafone Romania Companyhave answered on 19-th of March to the request launched by our Foundation and they showed up at the Romanian Basketball Federation gym. It was a unique experience, because we met some amazing people, who feel free and haven’t lost their zest for life, even though they’re strapped to a chair on wheels.

The Fund for Good Deeds: Investing for children and youths with serious illnesses
Along with the MAME Association we have launched the “Health is a priority” programme, aiming to support children and youths in Romania suffering from serious health problems. They will be offered medical, psychological and legal counselling services and they will be guided towards hospitals abroad if they cannot receive treatment or surgical interventions in Romania.

World of Difference 2014: Who are the winners in Romania?
The Vodafone Romania Foundation has selected the 9 volunteers, from over 130 potential candidates, who will take part in the „World of Difference” initiative, taking place between December 2014 and August 2015. We will provide current salaries and administrative expenses for the volunteers, so that they can be fully dedicated to the projects they will carry out alongside the NGOs they opted for.
