Under the Connecting for Good umbrella, the Vodafone Foundation acts in 27 countries by sponsoring projects that use technology in order to solve pressing social problems, to improve people`s life and generate sustainable change in communities.
Since its launch in Romania in 2012, this strategic program of the Vodafone Romania Foundation, has carried out 55 projects totaling a value of more than 4 million euros and addressing over 470.000 beneficiaries.
Funding for the Connecting for Good projects is granted following rounds that Vodafone Romania Foundation launches once a year. The Foundation supports projects that are focused on delivering public benefit through the use of mobile technology across the areas of health, education and social services.
